Systematic review and meta-analysis of biomarker proinflammation of depression in traumatic brain injury

Depression is one of the long-term complications traumatic brain injury (TBI) associated with inflammatory process. This study aims to analyze role proinflammatory biomarkers on depression due TBI and determine types in TBI. systematic review meta-analysis used preferred reporting items for reviews meta-analyses (PRISMA) protocol population, intervention, comparison, outcome method. The selected research articles consisted 4 cohort studies 2 cross-sectional studies. Participants were all participants who experienced without any previous infectious disease neurobehavior disorders. Article searches are limited last 10 years using digital libraries including Pubmed, Science Direct, Wiley, Google Scholar. Assessment risk bias ROBINS-1 tool, quality GradePro application, manager software 5.4.1. results a showed moderate level certainty. most common IL-6, TNF-α, IL-10. These markers have an effect TBI, especially recurrent high post-traumatic stress disorder accompanied by increase concentration value these biomarkers.
